As many of you know, I frequent Trader Joe’s weekly, without fail. I love that place. Some of you have literally asked me if I am a rep, or if I get paid by them! (By the way, I am not and do not!)
So when I find new discoveries it is my biggest pleasure to share them with you. This past weekend I went on my weekly shopping trip and discovered 3 new foods that get the thumbs up from me AND my family!

When it comes to healthy eating, my motto is eat this, not don’t eat that.
Raise your hand if you know what the “this” is??
Yes, smarty pants! It’s VEGETABLES! By now I’m sure you guys know I’m completely obsessed with getting enough vegetables into my diet. Most Americans don’t even come CLOSE to the ideal amount of vegetables that need to be consumed in a day – anywhere between 6 1/2 and 13 1/2 CUPS!
For those of you who have been following my blog for some time, you know I am obsessed with the Veggetti. For those of you who are new to the blog, you can learn all about the Veggetti and why I love it here. And here is another post with a Veggetti recipe.
I swear I am not a Veggetti rep. It’s just that it has really opened up my world to healthy recipes with zucchini spaghetti and I truly want to share the love.
SOOO….I am giving away FIVE Veggetti’s! Yup! 5 lucky winners will win the best kitchen tool ever.
I’m very excited to tell you about my latest discovery – riced cauliflower.
Basically, it’s cauliflower shredded down into crumbles that resemble rice. And the best part? You can buy it already riced! So far I’ve seen it in two places: Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s. You can bet that it’s much cheaper at Trader Joe’s so you might want to try there first. Trader Joe’s also has frozen riced cauliflower in addition to fresh, so I highly recommend always having a bag or two in your freezer for days you want to whip up a quick veggie dish.
I live for the Veggetti. It’s this cute little gadget that makes veggies turn into spaghetti! It is so easy to use and takes less than one minute to spiralize one zucchini.
Once I spiralize it, I saute it up with some olive oil and sea salt, and add some type of pre made sauce. EASY. QUICK. HEALTHY. Right up my alley.
Today I want to share my newest discovery from Trader Joe’s. (Click here to see how I feel about Trader Joe’s.)
